ACNC Registered Charity — mentoring young Australians since 1964

Raising a generation that is ready for anything.

Rangers Australia is the national home of Royal Rangers — a Christ-centred mentoring ministry where young people aged 5 to 17 build character, learn outdoor skills, earn badges and discover lifelong leadership.

Our Mission

Evangelise, equip and empower the next generation

Our mission is to evangelise, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and women — and lifelong servant leaders.

Every week, in churches and community halls across Australia, trained Ranger leaders mentor small groups of young people through adventure, achievement and friendship. From a child's very first badge to a teenager leading their own patrol, Rangers is a journey that shapes character for life.

As an ACNC registered charity, Rangers Australia Incorporated also operates the National Supply House in Bundamba, Queensland — supplying uniforms, patches and merit materials to local Ranger groups nationwide.

The Program

Four age groups, one incredible journey

From five-year-olds taking their first steps of faith to teenagers leading expeditions, every stage of Rangers is built for that season of life.

AGES 5–7

Ranger Kids

A gentle introduction to adventure — crafts, games, Bible stories and first badges in a safe, joyful environment.

AGES 8–10

Discovery Rangers

Hands-on skills take off: camping basics, first aid, cooking over a fire, and earning real merit badges.

AGES 11–13

Adventure Rangers

Bigger challenges for growing kids — overnight camps, navigation, teamwork and deeper faith questions.

AGES 14–17

Expedition Rangers

Young people step into leadership — planning expeditions, mentoring juniors, and preparing for life beyond school.
